The weekend of the 14-15 June I and loooads of other people will be a part of the BS4 Art Trail.
The space I am sharing is coutesy of bricks bristol and is in St Annes House in Brislington. I will be there 11am - 4pm both days, please come and say ‘Hi’, I plan on bringing tea and biscuits.

View/Review is a group show featuring 8 South East London artists using a variety of media from paint and print to photography, stencil art and textiles.
The Handmade Christmas Market is back in the new improved Alma pub garden, this time split over two days promising a huge amount of variety and talent!
Christmas in Penge is always good. The food, the beer, the stalls, the music and of course the people! Locals of all walks of life will be here, come down and have a browse, have a munch, and have a chinwag with some friendly Penge people!
A stunning new retail fair for south London and Kent borders, selling affordable, great quality vintage & retro products.
Traders specialise in mid century furniture, designer glass & home ware; upcycled & salvaged objects and furnishing, vintage men's and women's fashion, accessories & jewellery; vinyl records, toys, books & prints and vintage-inspired designer-makers.
They also have a local artists spot, and this time that will be me, halfway up the stairs, set up with framed and unframed limited prints for sale, as well as a couple of original pieces.
So Last Century is a great day out all for all ages, with over 40 stalls as well as hot and cold gourmet food traders both inside and outside the venue, and musical ambience provided by a gramophone DJ.
Trading hours from 11am to 5pm on Sundays, at a beautiful, grade II listed historic venue.
This is the first year of Catford Art Trail and I'm proud to be a part of it. My involvement stemmed from exhibiting with Keith Arnold in the Sydenham Art Trail earlier this year in Beer Rebellion Sydenham, and I should have a bunch of new things to show in the exciting space. I'm in Unit X, a currently vacant store on Catford Broadway along with two other artists; Emi Ali (painter) and Valerie Stack (photography and pocket art).
I'm excited to meet the other two artists, to set up our little space and to see what else is on offer from the other talented people, there are 70 people showing in total. There is also a prize draw for those that visit 10 venues, of £100 worth of art from your selected artist.

The second 'Penge Day', organised by Glenn at 'Made in Penge' will involve stalls, live music, amusements, and there people of Penge, milling up and down the high street and celebrating the place they live.
Me and Dope, the prolific and popular local street artist should have a stall set up somewhere on the high street, selling a variety of our wares, chatting and taking it in turns to go and try bits of the many local food items that will no doubt be on offer up and down the street.
Come and have a look, and say 'Hello'!
That time of year again where loads of the art group get together and show some of their work. The art group is pretty big and features a large cross-section of Penge dwellers of all shapes and sizes and as such is always a great exhibition as there is such variation.
From a personal point of view its chance for all of us to get together in one place, this doesn't happen often!

First time in the Sydenham artists trail and I'm exhibiting in a bar! beer Rebellion to be precise, and thats ok by me, a lovely little Penge business that I'm proud to be associated with. It won't just be me, I'll be joined by Keith Arnold, who works with neon, and I think we'll both be at one in the bar and will compliment each other nicely. Pop down for a visit, stay for a pint of Penge brewed beer.
Penge festival is back and with it another Art Trail. This year the art trail consists of 30 artists opening their studios or homes, or exhibiting in local venues during the Penge Festival, and I will be one of those artists.
My venue is Caffe Casbah, a favourite of mine on the high street, and I will be there intermittently throughout the trail, probably munching on a tagine and sketching. If you see me, please come over and say 'Hi'!
The SE Art Trail is back, bigger and better than before! More venues, more talented artists. Watch this space for more details on venues etc, but in the mean time save the date!

Sadly the SE Art Trail has had to be postponed, it may yet happen, but only after raising funds.
SE Art Trail 2015 spans South Norwood, Penge, West Norwood and Crystal Palace and is set to be packed full of talent. I will be exhibiting in the recently refurbished Stanley Halls, a beautiful old building lovingly restored by a team of local volunteers who now run the community hub as a charitable trust. Its an amazing gallery space we are using, and I imagine I'll spend a fair bit of my day there taking pics of the building itself, aswell as the selaction of varied artwork on show.

I grew up in Penge but have spent several years living elsewhere, and when I returned I looked for art related things to do. I was welcomed with open arms by the SE20 Art group, a loose group of artists who meet when they can to discuss art, teach each other, or just sketch over a coffee or in a gallery or museum. I am grateful to be a part of the group, surrounded by talent and honoured to be part of the annual show, in Kenilworth halls in Penge.
Its a great honour to be a part of Penge Festival 2015, and specifically the Art Trail that runs for a full two weeks! Links below to the facebook page, map etc. There are so many talented artists in the SE20 area, it really was a privilege to be allowed to be involved!
